What does the job involve?

The Warehouse Keeper is responsible for safe, efficient, and accurate handling of materials across the warehouse facility, ensuring full compliance with Equinor operational standards and supporting day to day logistics at the Łeba O&M Base. Responsible for Safe Work practices, planning, execution and monitoring of warehouse stock in cooperation with Maintenance and Operation Team.

You are utilizing your knowledge to independently solve tasks with a short-term operational or tactical impact/risk. You independently communicate within the immediate team, across different areas, and towards key stakeholders, including partners or external parties. You adhere to established procedures and identify as well as resolve challenges. You proactively seek continuous improvement, embrace change and ambiguity, You demonstrate flexibility to adopt new activities and ways of working, and take ownership of your own work. You follow and comply with safety, ethics, and compliance requirements and align with leadership expectations and company values.

Please note that the location for this position is in Łeba . The work scheme for this position can be either Monday – Friday 8 hours working days or 12 hours rotation-based days - 14 days on/14 days off.

If rotation-based scheme Equinor will provide accommodation in Leba during rotation.

What will my tasks be?

Within this position, your key tasks will be to:

Warehouse Operations & Material Handling

  • Perform loading and unloading of trucks in indoor/outdoor areas at the Leba O&M base.

  • Operate forklifts, platform trucks, in accordance with defined specifications.

  • Ensure proper storage of general, bulk, sensitive, and dangerous goods, including materials in temperature‑ and humidity‑controlled areas.

Receiving, Storage & Inventory Control

  • Receive, verify, and register incoming materials according to Equinor's warehouse management requirements, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.

  • Perform storage, preservation, picking, packing, and shipment tasks in line with global materials management standards.

  • Conduct periodic stock checks, maintain inventory accuracy, and support operational readiness.

  • Manage returns by reviewing documentation, determining disposition, and ensuring correct handling of returned materials from operations.

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow and enforce all warehouse and site safety rules, including inductions for warehouse staff and visitors.

  • Ensure correct usage of mandatory PPE and specialized PPE when handling dangerous goods.

  • Comply with regulations and internal material management requirements.

  • Report hazards, incidents, and non‑conformities according to the incident reporting procedure.

Equipment Handling & Care

  • Operate forklifts and lifting equipment with ensuring safe operation.

  • Handle battery charging for electric forklifts and maintain equipment in good operational condition.

  • Use transport platforms and trailers for short‑range movement of goods.

Documentation & System Updates

  • Maintain accurate warehouse records, inspection checklists, and goods‑movement documentation.

  • Update materials data, location tracking, and stock levels in warehouse management systems according to the internal standards.

  • Ensure all relevant documentation related to is properly filed and available.

Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate with O&M Team regarding material needs and deliveries.

  • Support freight forwarding and customs service providers where warehouse inputs are required (storage, releases, loadouts).

  • Participate in warehouse and operational readiness workshops when required.

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in warehouse keeping.

  • Experience in using warehouse management software.

  • Strong safety culture and adherence to high standard of safety rules.

  • Good understanding of procedures and willingness to cooperate with the team.

  • Being focused on proper organization of the facility and work environment.

  • Ability to read and understand procedures as well as participation in creating new procedures.

  • Be or became authorized to operate warehouse machinery as forklift etc. To be provided by the employer.

  • Hold (or ability to pass) required medical certificates.

  • Strong collaboration skills and creative approach to problem solving.

  • Fluency in written and verbal Polish and advanced English.
