Equinor Local IT Administrator in Łeba, Poland

What does the job involve?

The Local IT Administrator ensures smooth daily IT operations in the office by providing basic first-line support, maintaining equipment, and coordinating with central IT teams when issues need escalation. This role is ideal for a motivated professional starting their IT career

What will my tasks be?

Within this position, your key tasks will be to:

First-Line IT Support

• Provide basic onsite IT assistance to office staff (e.g., login issues, printer resets, basic troubleshooting).

• Support configuration and setup of staff personal IT equipment, conference room systems, and office Wi Fi.

• Help new employees with PC setup and onboarding (account login, email, MS Teams, standard software).

Office IT Equipment Maintenance

• Maintain and monitor printers, docking stations, monitors, keyboards, meeting-room equipment, and Wi Fi connectivity.

• Perform regular health checks on office hardware.

• Keep small stock of IT peripherals (mice, adapters, headsets) organized and available.

User Support & Communication

• Provide friendly, patient, and clear support to non-technical users.

• Register and track issues in internal ticketing systems.

• Escalate more complex technical issues to central IT support teams.

Education

• Secondary school or technical school diploma (IT or related fields is an advantage but not required).

• Higher education in progress or planned (optional).

Experience

• No prior professional experience required.

• Any hobby/volunteer experience in computers, gaming hardware setup, or helping friends/family with IT is beneficial.

Skills

• Basic understanding of computers, networks, and operating systems (Windows).

• Good communication and customer service mindset.

• Willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge.

• Strong organization and reliability.

• Ability to follow procedures and safety guidelines.

• Fluency in written and verbal Polish and advanced English.

• Team oriented with a helpful attitude.

• Patient and calm when solving user issues.

• Open to mentorship and ongoing training.
