About the job
We are seeking a highly motivated Patient Engagement Manager to join our Specialty Care – Immunology team in Denmark. In this role, you will support Sanofi Specialty Care in becoming an externally focused and truly patient-centric leader. You will plan, drive, and execute patient engagement activities with the aim of optimizing the patient journey from first symptoms to disease control and optimal treatment.
This is an exciting opportunity combining patient advocacy with public affairs engagement, working in close collaboration with colleagues across Market Access, Public Affairs, Communications, Medical, and Marketing. You will work in partnership with the Public Affairs Manager, North Europe Patient Engagement Lead and colleagues across North Europe to ensure alignment and impact. Your primary focus will be on Sanofi's assets within Immunology, engaging with stakeholders on disease areas including Atopic Dermatitis, Asthma, COPD, Nasal Polyps and other inflammatory diseases.

Main responsibilities:
Develop and execute a patient engagement strategy aligned with public affairs objectives and patient needs, building on the Global Integrated Patient Engagement strategy
Build and maintain relationships with Patient Advocacy Groups (PAGs), healthcare professionals, politicians, and regional health authorities across the healthcare ecosystem
Monitor and analyze healthcare policy developments affecting patient access in immunology therapeutic areas and develop position papers on relevant topics
Develop concise patient journey maps highlighting barriers to treatment at national and regional levels and identify patient needs through stakeholder insights
Drive disease awareness and patient empowerment initiatives targeting people living with inflammatory conditions and strengthen understanding of disease burden
Support advocacy efforts with policymakers and health authorities, representing Sanofi in public policy discussions and consultations
Partner with PAGs and healthcare professionals to drive co-creation projects contributing to improved patient care
Engage with payers and reimbursement bodies on patient access issues and collaborate on health technology assessments (HTA) from a patient perspective
Contribute to public affairs communications and media engagement, supporting development of key messages for external stakeholders
Participate actively in industry associations and public health initiatives, coordinating closely with the Public Affairs Manager on political engagement strategies
Adhere to internal and external policies and regulations, maintaining the highest standards of compliance, ethics, and business integrity in all stakeholder interactions
About you
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical environment or similar experience from other organisations
Experience with patient engagement
Proven experience in public affairs, policy engagement, and/or government relations
Clear understanding and knowledge of the Danish healthcare ecosystem (payers, politics, patient organisations, and health authorities)
Experience engaging with political stakeholders and navigating regulatory environments
Excellent project management, analytical, and research skills, ideally with launch experience
Proven track record of building high-level stakeholder networks across the healthcare ecosystem
Fluency in Danish and English (written and spoken) with strong communication skills

The salary range for this position is :kr668.000,00 - kr1.002.000,00
Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
