Job Description Summary
GE HealthCare in Zipf is seeking a dedicated individual to set up and maintain endurance test stations for our medical devices, ensuring robust and reliable product performance.
The internship is for 1-2 months in July and/or August this year!

Job Description
Your internship
Program and calibrate test automation systems, including data acquisition and control software.
Perform initial functional checks and validation of newly set up test stations to ensure accuracy and repeatability.
Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams to understand testing requirements and provide technical support.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to test station hardware, software, and test samples.
Document test station configurations, maintenance activities, and test results thoroughly.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for test station design, efficiency, and reliability.
Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and GE Healthcare quality standards during test station setup and operation.
Our requirements
You are a Student (eg. HTL, FH,..) in the branch Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including sensors, actuators, and control circuits
Proficiency in programming for test automation (e.g., Python) is highly desirable
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
Excellent problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken) is required
We are offering a salary based on collective agreement (KV Elektro) based on
your degree program and academic progress.
