What Youll Do
- As a Production Coordinator, youll be the key link between departments, helping ensure a smooth and efficient production flow by:
- Partnering with scheduling to understand daily production goals and priorities
- Coordinating workflow between departments to keep jobs moving on time
- Monitoring job progress and communicating updates, delays, or issues
- Ensuring teams have the materials, tools, and information needed for success
- Tracking job completion and helping prioritize workloads
- Communicating with first shift leadership on job status and next-day needs
- Organizing production queues and work areas for maximum efficiency
- Supporting inventory awareness and communicating supply needs
- Maintaining accurate production documentation and reporting
- Promoting and enforcing safety, quality, and operational standards
What Were Looking For
- Must be at least 18 years old
- 3-5 years of manufacturing, production, or operations experience preferred
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Ability to communicate effectively across multiple departments
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Self-starter who takes initiative and anticipates needs
- Positive, team-focused mindset
Physical and Work Environment
This role includes:
- Standing, walking, bending, and moving throughout your shift
- Lifting up to 30 lbs regularly (up to 75 lbs occasionally)
- Working in a production environment with noise, dust, and varying temperatures
- Exposure to shop elements such as fumes, odors, and humidity
- Use of equipment and required PPE including safety shoes, glasses, gloves, and hearing protection
