  • Design scalable data models for real estate data, including transactions, financial data, and geospatial information.
  • Focus on data architecture and modeling, data integration, and governance in a real estate context.
  • Partner closely with engineers to guide database architecture decisions and ensure delivery of intended outcomes.
  • Translate business and data requirements into clear technical specifications for engineering teams.
  • Lead the integration of multiple internal and external datasets into a unified, scalable property database.
  • Serve as the domain expert on publicly traded REITs and major property owners.
  • Establish standards for property classification, operating metrics, and valuation frameworks.
  • Define and monitor data quality and completeness metrics

  • Proven experience designing and maintaining property-level databases, including schema design and data normalization.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate and reconcile siloed datasets into a consolidated, production-grade database.
  • Deep knowledge of publicly traded REITs, property owners, and key real estate data sources.
  • Strong understanding of property types, operating metrics (e.g., NOI, occupancy, rent), and valuation metrics (e.g., cap rates, LTV, DSCR).
  • For U.S. candidates, must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Desired Skills

  • Strong technical and database skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with and manage engineering teams.
  • Track record of delivering scalable data platforms in a complex, cross-team environment.
  • Experience with major estate data providers such as S&P Capital IQ Pro, CoStar, RCA, MSCI/RCA, Trepp or Green Street.
