Youngstown State University Assistant Professor, Computer Science - Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (Tenure-Track) in Youngstown, Ohio
Summary of Position
Teaches undergraduate and graduate courses* *with a focus in machine learning and its applications in artificial intelligence, NLM, GenAI, computer graphics, networking, cybersecurity, IoT, robotics, HCI, databases, software engineering, etc. in The School of Computer Science, Information, and Engineering Technology. Conducts research and produces scholarship in candidate's area of expertise. Seeks and secures external funding. Contributes to programmatic improvement, curricular development, and assessment efforts at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Establishes interdisciplinary collaborations across the University or with external organizations and performs service to the University.
Position Information
Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources.

*Work Schedule: *Typically, Monday through Friday, including some evenings, and the possibility of some weekend days.
