(3) Farmworkers needed to hand-plant, transplant, cultivate, hand-harvest vegetables, and pack sweet corn; plant, cultivate and harvest field crops, including corn, soy beans, wheat, hay and straw. Workers will plant, cultivate, and irrigate mums. Workers will perform hand-weeding and hoeing. May assist with irrigation. May spread and remove plastic or other ground covering. May stake, tie, trellis and/or prune plants. Additional duties include but are not limited to general farm maintenance, weeding, and cleaning equipment. Work will occur in Delaware County, Indiana.

Requires a minimum of 3 months of verifiable agricultural employment experience on a commercial fruit and/or vegetable farm. Requiere un mínimo de 3 meses de experiencia laboral agrícola verificable en una granja comercial de frutas y/o verduras.

Workers will be paid a minimum of $19.22 per hour, with the opportunity to earn more through piece rate work.

Employer provides housing at no cost to workers who are not reasonably able to return same day to their residence. Separate sleeping rooms and bathroom facilities are designated for male and female workers. Family housing is not provided.

Drug testing will be performed upon accident, incident, or suspicion and will be performed at the expense of the employer. All testing will be post-hired and is not a part of the interview process. Employer-paid background check required.

Workers hired from beyond normal commuting distance will be reimbursed for inbound transportation costs. Upon completion of the work contract, these workers will also be provided with outbound transportation costs.
