Material Handler (Forklift Driver)
Full time, 6:30 am-5:00 pm (10-hour shifts)
Monday-Friday
$19.28/hour
MUST BE EXPERIENCED SIT-DOWN CERTIFIED FORKLIFT OPERATOR/DRIVER WITH BASIC UNDERSTANDING OF MICROSOFT EXCEL
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Maintains in-process inventory at computer centers.
- Ensure that finished product is being pulled from the production lines and keep production line supplies always stocked.
- Monitors materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
- Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
- Using a computer, documents materials and records units delivered and location of units.
- Operates forklifts, and other machinery to move items, or signals machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and loading docks.
- Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.

- Adept at handling multiple complex tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency with prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines
- Excellent time management
- Knowledge of inventory control
- Ability to lift heavy materials
Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma or GED preferred. Prior forklift operating experience preferred. Less than high school education with up to one month of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to be on their feet for up to 12 hours per day. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, with assistance if required.
