Job Title: Packaging Operator
Entry Level Position- no experience needed
1st and 3rd shift available over the weekends
Shift:
Thursday-Friday 9:30pm-6:00am (19/hr), Saturday-Sunday 5:30pm-5:30am (19.50/hr)
Saturday-Sunday 5:30am-5:30pm (19/hr), Monday-Tuesday 5:30am-2:00pm (18.50/hr)
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Packaging Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines, focusing on safety, efficiency, and quality. The position is based in the York/Thomasville area, specializing in either the Laundry Line/CAT-Line or VMS area, where you will be responsible for operating machinery, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to all safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Promote a safety culture and adhere to plant safety policies and procedures at all times.
Operate equipment safely and efficiently to meet or exceed quality, scheduling, and customer requirements.
Clean and lubricate bottle feeders.
Maintain a clean work area.
Ensure all quality standards are met, including correct material components on the right lines.
Assist with special projects and assignments such as rework and hand stacking.
Participate in Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing teams to identify and resolve areas of waste.
Assist with the training and certification program as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
High school diploma or GED plus one year of work experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
Experience in packaging, inspection, production, and pick/pack tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in inventory management, labelling, food production, and filling.

Work Environment
The work environment includes shifts on either E Shift or F Shift with weekend options. The LLD/CAT plant is a dynamic setting where Laundry Detergent is manufactured, involving the use of chemicals, heavy machinery, and conveyor lines, with varying temperatures. Alternatively, the VMS area, where Vitamin Gummies are produced, offers a cleaner environment with extensive conveyor and packaging equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.50/hr.
