REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be available the entire work period of 3/9/26-11/8/26. Must agree to 48 hr work week. Employer will provide transportation from employer provided living quarters to work site every day. *SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: *Must have at least 3 months of verifiable experience in all job duties. This job requires exposure to extreme temperatures, ability to lift 60 lbs., repetitive movements, extensive walking, frequent stooping, extensive pushing and pulling.

 *JOB DUTIES: *Handling manual tasks associated with commodity production and harvest activities. Multiple contract dates available. Alternative start date(s) include: 06/15/2026 (2 workers). The exact start date and/or number of workers may vary based on weather, crop conditions or other factors. Crops/Commodities: apricots, apples, peaches, pears, plum, pumpkins, hay, straw, tomatoes. Primary duties (performed the majority of workdays): Mow, cut, and weed fields. Bending, stooping and kneeling required. Use hand tools including but not limited to hoes, shovels, shears, clippers, loppers, and saws. Lift, carry, and load/unload products or supplies. pruning fruit trees, hand thinning and harvesting fruit, sorting fruit, and planting trees and plants. Use power equipment including but not limited to: tractors, planters, mowers, plows, cultivators, power shears, chain saws, high lifts, fork lifts, skid loaders. Must operate agricultural equipment safely, with or without direction. Install/maintain irrigation systems and water lines. Move and install irrigation pipes and equipment. Dig and maintain ditches. Install and remove levee gates. Repeated failure to follow quality control instructions may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination. Rake and ted hay and straw. Load/stack bales of hay/straw. Drive tractors, planters, and balers, and operate other mechanized farm equipment to plant, cultivate, and harvest crops/commodities at a diversified farming operation. Use farm equipment to cut, pull, dig, thresh, clean, chop, bag, or bundle harvested crops. Load/unload harvested crops/commodities or other materials manually or with mechanized equipment such as conveyors, or handtrucks. Perform manual and mechanized tasks including but not limited to: bushhogging fields; disking; aerating; seeding (using mechanical drills and seeders); fertilizing, weed spraying, mowing, tedding, raking, baling, and stacking. Perform ditching, shoveling, hoeing, hauling, ground preparation, and other manual tasks. Work is done in the field for long periods of time. Workers may assist in handling product weighing up to 60 pounds and lifting to a height of 5 feet. Workers must work on their feet in bent positions for long periods of time. Work requires repetitive movements and extensive walking. Work required in fields when plants are wet with dew and rain, and may be required during light rain, snow, moderate winds, direct sun, high humidity and extreme temperatures. Temperatures in fields during working hours can range from 10 to over 100 degrees F. Workers may be required to work during occasional showers not severe enough to stop field operations. Allergies to ragweed, goldenrod, honey bees, insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, or related chemicals may affect a worker's ability to perform the job.
