ManpowerGroup Extrusion Technician in Yorba Linda, California

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in medical-grade products, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Extrusion Technician to join their team. As an Extrusion Technician, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting the production of high-quality catheters. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, proactive problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Extrusion Technician

Location: Yorba Linda, CA

Pay Range: $30

Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday through Friday

Shift: 2:30pm - 11:00pm, Monday through Friday

Shift: 11:00pm - 6;00am, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

  • Set up, operate, clean, and monitor extrusion equipment according to approved parameters and specifications.

  • Ensure all parts meet quality standards by following quality control procedures and performing regular inspections.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and communicate changes to enhance production efficiency and product quality.

  • Follow routine maintenance and troubleshooting procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.

  • Maintain accurate production records, including material usage, machine settings, and output quantities.

What's Needed?

  • 1-3 years of experience as an extrusion operator or in a similar manufacturing role.

  • Proficiency in operating manufacturing equipment and understanding of manufacturing processes.

  • Good working knowledge of production parts and tooling drawings.

  • Fluent and clear communication skills in English, both verbally and written.

  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds safely and effectively.
