Key Responsibilities
Partner with business leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives, effectively addressing evolving organizational needs.
Oversee HR administration, including employment contracts, payroll coordination, benefits, and leave management.
Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and career development.
Continuously improve HR policies, systems, and processes for efficiency and transparency. Ensure full compliance with Japanese labor laws and employment regulations.
Lead country-wide initiatives that reinforce our company values across different office locations.
Diagnose and optimize organizational structures to enhance cross-departmental collaboration and decision-making efficiency. Lead change management projects to ensure smooth organizational transitions.
Work with the Learning and Development team to design impactful programs focused on training, career development, and job performance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and overseeing effective implementation.
Establish and lead the Succession Planning process for business-critical positions. Identify high-potential talent and design and implement individualized development programs.
Oversee the efficiency and effectiveness of the entire HR operations system. Supervise the daily operations and continuous improvement of compensation & benefits, employee relationships, culture initiatives etc., ensuring a solid operational foundation for the execution of HR and business strategies.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and above in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or related field.
Minimum 15 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years strategic HR leadership role.
Strong analytical capability in diagnosing organizational issues (structure, capabilities, leadership effectiveness)
High learning agility, proactive mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong expertise in Japanese labor law and HR operations Solid experience in key stakeholder management (tough situation) and problem-solving capability.
Cultural awareness and experience working with diverse, global teams
Language: Native-level Japanese; Business-level English.
