Adecco US, Inc. Kitchen Help in Yellow Pine, Idaho
Adecco is immediately hiring a Kitchen Helper for a remote gold mining encampment outside of Yellow Pine, ID. The Kitchen Helper supports daily food service operations ensuring miners receive consistent, high?quality meals in a clean and well?maintained environment. This position assists cooks with meal preparation and maintains kitchen sanitation.
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr + OT
Schedule: Rotational 20 days on (8-10hr shifts per day) then 10 days off
Benefits: Adecco offers health benefits and the transportation, meals and room/board provided by client at the mine.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
Support cooks with meal prep, meal assembly, and plating during busy times.
Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly.
Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors, prep areas, and workstations to maintain a clean kitchen environment.
Organize storage areas, rotate stock, and ensure proper food freshness.
Refill serving lines and maintain food stations during mealtimes.
Remove trash and follow proper waste?disposal procedures.
Maintain cleanliness of dry storage, walk?ins, and supply areas.
Report equipment malfunctions, maintenance needs, or supply shortages to management.
Follow all camp safety guidelines as well as food safety and sanitation standards.
Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment within the remote encampment.
Work Environment
Remote mining encampment setting; employees are housed on site during scheduled rotations.
Fast?paced kitchen supporting large?volume meal service for rotating crews.
Must be comfortable working and living in an isolated location with varied weather conditions.
