Who will you be working with?
L&M Radiator, Inc. is a global designer, manufacturer, and distributor of MESABI cooling and heat transfer solutions that are custom‑made for heavy equipment in the mining, oil, gas, construction, and heavy industrial industries. This role is crucial in ensuring product completion and meeting quality standards prior to shipping.
As a 3rd Shift Supervisor, you will work directly with other production supervisors and the Site Operations Lead to coordinate workflow, communicate production needs, and ensure safe and efficient operations across both the Assembly and Tubing departments. This role also requires regular communication with Quality, Training, Safety, Payroll, and Maintenance, as well as first‑shift leadership to support smooth handoffs between shifts.
This role directly reports to the Site Operations Lead.
How will you make a difference?
The 3rd Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing both the Assembly and Tubing departments and ensuring products meet customer expectations for quality, safety, and on‑time delivery. By coordinating staff, monitoring processes, and addressing production needs, you help keep operations running efficiently while maintaining high standards.
Your leadership directly supports continuous improvement, strong communication between shifts, and a safe, productive work environment—making this role essential to the overall success of the organization.
This is a salaried position supporting third shift (Sunday–Thursday, 10:00pm–6:00am).

What will your typical day look like?
Oversee daily production in both the Assembly and Tubing departments.
Review active jobs, drawings, and special instructions at the start of the shift.
Communicate with the previous/next shift and the Site Operations Lead to ensure smooth handoffs.
Monitor workflow, address delays, and ensure builds stay on schedule.
Train, coach, and support employees while handling personnel matters as needed.
Enforce all safety policies and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Review and correct employee time records and communicate with payroll when needed.
Complete daily HIT lists and maintain required production reports (including BIR reports).
Coordinate staffing, approve overtime, and escalate maintenance issues when equipment needs attention.
Communicate regularly with Quality, Safety, Training, and Engineering to support production success.
What about the physical demands of the job?
Wear correct PPE – earplugs, protective eye wear, steel-toed boots, and work provided uniform (gloves when necessary)
Lift a minimum of 50lbs.
Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time at workstation.
Read and follow instructions and blueprints.
Practice and maintain safe work conditions.
You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.

The salary range for this role is between $60,700.00 - $106,200.00 USD Annual. The actual starting salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands, and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Qualifications
What do we want to know about you?
High School Diploma or GED.
2 years previous experience as supervisor or 3 years of service at L&M.
18 years or older.

The salary rate for this role is currently $60,700-83,400 The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
