Manulife Assistant Manager, Data & Insights Analyst in Yangon, Myanmar (Burma)

Using statistical tools to interpret data sets and prepare reports such as Digital daily tracking report, and calculation telco bonus to validate with Comp team, and to extend Digital Campaign reporting. Based on Telecom data, it needs to take out the data from MIS system or PowerBI dashboard to check with external parties. And she needs to give the accurate report to Head of Alternate Channel Sales and CDO as daily basis. Arranging reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data regarding Partnership strategy and alternative sales.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research into current market trends and industry practices to present both external and internal parties. Working alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs

  • Using statistical tools to interpret data sets and prepare reports such as Digital daily tracking report, and calculation telco bonus to validate with Comp team, and to extend Digital Campaign reporting

  • Based on Telecom data, it needs to take out the data from MIS system or PowerBI dashboard to check with external parties. And she needs to give the accurate report to Head of Alternate Channel Sales and CDO as daily basis.

  • Analyzing results and identifying patterns and trends in data sets.

  • Presenting results to the management team using charts, graphs and tables, working alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs (for new partnership and support to sales strategy Campaign)

  • Preparing reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data regarding Partnership strategy and alternative sales.

  • Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate complex analytical concepts in an understandable manner to non-technical audiences

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI, Power Query.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the insurance and financial industry.

  • Proficiency in statistical analysis software and programming languages (e.g., Tableau, Python, SAS).

  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries
