Responsibilities
Summer Intern - Manufacturing Engineer, Repair & Overhaul
Overview
Triumph is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern to support our Repair & Overhaul team for Summer 2026. This role provides hands-on experience for students pursuing Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, offering exposure to real aerospace production processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
• Support and maintain visual cell display infrastructure to improve communication and workflow visibility.
• Assist with operations administrative tasks supporting daily production activities.
• Contribute to the 5S program to keep work areas organized, efficient, and audit ready.
• Participate in safety initiatives and help reinforce safe work practices.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to reduce waste and improve process flow.
• Assist with manufacturing workflow documentation, updates, and optimization.
• Provide support for material-handling improvements and process standardization.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required.
• Pursuing a BA degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engine
