Triumph Actuation Products and Services - Yakima is also the sole supplier of the critical repeatable release holdback bars used for launching US Navy fighter jets from aircraft carriers. TRIUMPH has provided every holdback bar since the F-14.

Responsibilities

Summer Intern - Manufacturing Engineer - Production

 

Overview

Triumph is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern to support the development, improvement, and documentation of manufacturing processes used in the production of aerospace hydraulic actuators and their components.

 

This role involves interpreting engineering drawings, assisting with production planning, and supporting hands-on manufacturing activities. It is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in machining, process engineering, and continuous improvement within a highly technical aerospace environment.

 

Responsibilities

Develop written manufacturing plans, sketches, and work instructions based on engineering drawings and specifications

Use CAD software to design fixturing, tooling, and manufacturing models

Collaborate with production operators, supervisors, and cross functional teams to improve product flow and quality

Support and implement process improvement initiatives

Assist with manufacturing capacity and capability planning

Participate in evaluating and developing manufacturing processes by:

    Conducting research and testing
