Honeywell Embedded Engr II in Xian, China
Responsibilities:
You will take role as Embedded Engineer II ;Implement security product testing aligned with product strategy (design/execution). Collaborate cross-functionally (project, marketing, R&D, partners) and global matrix teams. Diagnose technical issues, optimize testing processes/tools, and deliver test cases/reports. Requires strong communication skills, engineering background, sharp analytical ability, and effectiveness in matrix organizations.
Responsibilities will include:
Develop product/system test assets, including test requirement, test strategy, test plan, test case and test report.
Build up and maintain security product validation test environments to ensure safety and improve efficiency and optimization for embedded system products and PC software.
Partner with Product Security Leader/Architect to drive cybersecurity testing strategy and solutions for embedded devices.
Implement secure coding practices in internal project development.
Incorporate and utilize automated test techniques and software testing tools as appropriate.
Perform manual or automation tests (including function test, regression test, stress test and performance test), summarize and analyze the test results.
Software testing of security system products, features, and peripherals.
Reviewing customer documentation for accuracy and correct content.
Cooperate with Marketing, R&D to support on-site field issues.
Basic Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of security technologies, frameworks, and best practices
Good at cross-function communication and teamwork.
Good oral, reading and written English are necessary.
Experience in testing access or security-related products is preferred.
Familiar with EN/UL test standards is preferred.
Familiar with python, shell or other languages is preferred.
Software development lifecycle experience is preferred.
Familiarity with JIRA or equivalent Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) software is preferred.
Proficient PC application development skills: QT cross-platform development, C# development.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer, electronics, communication, Engineering or related.
Master’s degree is preferred.

This position will be based in Xi’an PRC.
