Duties

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts.
  • Use hand tools and power tools such as pipe threaders, wrenches, drills, and welding equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Perform pipe threading, cutting, fitting, and soldering to ensure secure connections throughout the project.
  • Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate plumbing work with carpentry, HVAC systems, and remodeling activities.
  • Conduct inspections of plumbing installations for leaks or defects; troubleshoot mechanical issues using mechanical knowledge.
  • Lift heavy materials safely while adhering to safety protocols; assist with remodeling or handyman tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing codes and safety standards.
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machines.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
  • Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of HVAC systems and schematics is a plus.
  • Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or confined spaces.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations; familiarity with carpentry or remodeling is advantageous.
  • Valid drivers license with commercial driving experience preferred for site mobility.

Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour
