Evercor Facility Management Pest Control Technician in Wyoming, Pennsylvania

Pest Control Technician

Pestcor, a subsidiary of Evercor Facility Management, is a growing pest control and lawn care company seeking a Pest Control Technician to join our team. This position is being hired now to allow time for onboarding and training ahead of the busy season. Prior experience is preferred, but motivated candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, providing excellent customer service, and being part of a fast-growing service organization.

What You'll Do

  • Provide professional, knowledgeable pest control services to residential and commercial customers

  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers, including discussing service outcomes and additional services as appropriate

  • Follow assigned daily routes and understand various service types, materials, and treatment requirements

  • Complete all required electronic service reports and forms accurately using a handheld device

  • Read and follow product labels to safely and effectively apply treatments

  • Address customer questions and concerns with empathy, professionalism, and problem-solving skills

  • Communicate daily with office staff to support scheduling accuracy and productivity

  • Adapt to schedule changes and varying workloads as needed

  • Maintain a clean company vehicle and operate it in compliance with state laws and company policies

  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and quality standards

     

Licensing & Training

  • Ability to obtain a Pennsylvania Pesticide Applicator License and pass required category exams within the company-designated timeframe (if not already licensed)

  • Maintain required continuing education credits to keep licensing current

Schedule & Hours

  • Work hours vary by season:

  • Spring/Summer: Increased workload and extended hours as demand rises

  • Fall/Winter: Reduced hours due to seasonal demand

  • Average of approximately 40 hours per week on an annual basis

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Comfortable using mobile devices and technology

  • Positive attitude and adaptability in a growing company environment
