ND job order 924971 Temporary seasonal position from 3/25/2026 to 12/1/2026 Duties include driving and operating tractors with towed implements for planting crops and grains such as alfalfa, oats and corn for cattle feed. Workers will drive tractors and operate designated equipment to cut/ rake/bale forage, alfalfa, and hay grasses feed for the animals. All bales will have to move back to the ranch for the winter months. Workers will help with the calving of the herd and care for newborns. They will help with vaccinating of the cattle, calves will be branded and cow /calf pairs will be moved to the pastures for the summer months. A weekly route will be done to check each pasture and deliver minerals and feed supplements. Maintenance will need to be done on all equipment, buildings, structures and grounds. Must be able to work independently after given instructions and be able to tolerate heat conditions. Strong fencing skills are needed and gates and corrals will need to be maintained. Employees must have a valid driver's license or be capable of obtaining one in 30 days. Cell phone usage is limited to business-related calls of the operation only. NO TEXTING. No smoking in equipment, vehicles, fields or housing units. Drinking of alcoholic beverages is prohibited during working hours and otherwise discouraged. No Educational level is required. Must have 6 months of tractor driving with towed implements and operate computerized feeder wagons with weight scales and monitors for feeding cattle. Cattle experience is necessary.
