Catholic Charities of the Dioscese of Albany Camp Scully Inclusion Specialist in Wynantskill, New York

Salary Range: $310.00 To $350.00 Annually

As the Inclusion Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:

  • Assist in creating and conducting a training session for camp counselors

  • Assist with pre-season staff training

  • Mentor and model camp mission, practices, and procedures

  • Coordinate an assigned recreational program by providing instruction and modeling activities

  • Assist in designing new and creative recreation activities

  • Identify at risk children through observation and collaboration with counselors

  • Create plans to alleviate behavioral concerns when appropriate

  • Work with parents, external agencies, and staff to ensure any camp with special needs or conditions are having a successful time at Camp Scully

Inclusion Specialist Minimum Salary: $310.00 per week

Inclusion Specialist Maximum Salary: $350.00 per week

Must be able to live on site for the entire camp season (June-August)

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in Social Work, Child Development, or a related field

  • Experiences working with children with emotional or behavioral challenges

  • Organizational, planning, and time management skills

  • Experience working at a summer camp is preferred
