  5. As an embedded software engineer, you will work with Carter's global team to develop embedded software for Carter's heavy-duty machines to ensure superior performance, durability, quality, and maintainability of products.

As a member of the Electrical & Electronic Hardware Specialist team, you will be involved in the following.

JOB DUTIES

The key role of this engineering position is to

• ·Designing electronic circuit schematics and PCB layouts for embedded electronic products.

• ·Performing circuit simulation and verification using tools such as Pspice or LTspice, or equivalent.

• ·Supporting technical issue resolution for diesel generator set controllers and DCDC convertor (experience preferred).

• ·Assisting project teams with technical documentation, solution reviews, and product optimization.

• ·Following the project development process rigorously and maintaining related documentation.

• ·Participating in phase reviews according to project milestones.

• ·Maintaining confidentiality and completing other tasks assigned by leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Communications, Electronic Information, Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in embedded hardware development (2+ years for Master’s degree holders).

• Proficient in schematic design and PCB layout; experienced in circuit simulation using Pspice, LTspice, or similar tools.

• Experience with EMC simulation using Ansys is a plus.

• Prior experience in diesel generator controller or DCDC development is a plus.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

• English proficiency: CET-6 or above, with strong listening, speaking, and writing skills.

• Proactive, communicative, expressive, logical, and innovative mindset.
