Boehringer Ingelheim Production and Manufacturing Execution Process Specialist (MES 2nd Line Support) in Wrocław, Poland

The position

As a Process Specialist, you are responsible for supporting the MES Program, which delivers global standardized operations processes to ensure manufacturing competitiveness and GxP-compliance. The area of expertise for this position focuses on Business Processes for Manufacturing Execution using MES PAS-X from Körber.

In your role, you receive questions from Key Users via MES Incident portal and either answer them directly or forward the request to the next support level.

Tasks & responsibilities

As a Process Specialist, you are responsible for:

  • Being part of a global business application support team and acting as the first point of contact between users of the MES system and the global MES Process Manager or IT Subject Matter Experts.

  • Supporting internal users in the business, together with global Process Managers in the GBS PPM/P2E/ME team, by answering their questions to ensure production continuity.

  • Monitoring performance, continuity, and sustainability of processes by using data from incident and demands databases.

  • Utilizing the incident management solution (MyServices) and other applications for testing, training, and as a knowledge base.

  • Supporting the implementation of global processes and contributing as a team member in global expert teams responsible for system operations.

  • Being part of a cross-functional team to manage and support MES-related processes for Animal Health and Human Pharma production.

About our future employee

You should have min. 2 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical production or supporting areas (e.g. manufacturing, quality assurance in production). We are also open for considering candidates from the automotive industry.

Additionally, we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Science, Pharmacy, Process Engineering or Business Informatics.

  • Profound working experience in business processes and highly integrated and standardized solutions.

  • Familiarity with MES (e.g. PAS-X) and knowledge in GxP regulatory requirements would be a strong asset.

  • Experience with support of operational processes, incl. know-how around process integration with SAP, EWM other MES systems is beneficial.

  • Dedicated team player with structured problem-solving skills.

  • Fluent communication skills in English (preferably C1 level).

  • Willingness work flexibly and to travel (approximately 10%), to ensure exchange with other team Members e. g. in Germany.
