C.H. Robinson Senior Manager, 4PL Control Tower Operations in Wroclaw, Poland
C.H. Robinson is seeking a Senior Manager, Control Tower Logistics Operations to join our Robinson Managed Solutions (RMS) 4PL organization in Wroclaw. This is a highly strategic leadership role for a forward-thinking operations leader who is passionate about leveraging AI, analytics, and automation to drive productivity, service excellence, and scalable growth across complex global logistics networks.
In this role, you will lead mission-critical control tower operations for global customers, translating strategy into execution while modernizing service delivery through AI-enabled workflows, predictive insights, and continuous improvement. You will play a pivotal role in shaping how technology, data, and people come together to deliver a world-class customer experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
Strategic & Operational Leadership
Define, champion, and execute the control tower operational strategy, aligning people, processes, and technology to deliver measurable productivity, cost-to-serve, and service improvement
Supportcomplex customer implementations and service changes, ensuring seamless onboarding, scalable execution, and AI-enabled readiness
Drive consistent execution against SLAs, KPIs, and customer expectations acrosstheregion and customer portfolios
Serve as a senior escalation point for operational challenges, ensuring rapid resolution and long-term systemic fixes.
AI, Analytics & Productivity Enablement
Champion the adoption of AI-driven tools, automation, and advanced analytics to improve forecasting, exception management, root-cause analysis, and decision velocity
Leverage operational dashboards, control tower analytics, and predictive insights to proactivelyidentifyservice gaps, risks, and optimization opportunities
Partner with technologyand product teams to translate operational needs into AI-enabled solutions that improve productivity and reduce manual effort
Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making, ensuring leaders and teams are equipped to use AI and analytics effectively.
Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence
Drive “Operational Excellence” through disciplined KPI management, standardized processes, and continuous improvement methodologies
Identifyrecurring service disruptions and customer pain points; lead structured root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions
Optimizeresource allocation and capacity planning to ensure sustainable performance against SLAs and costto servetargets
Lead standardization efforts across customers and regions whilemaintainingflexibility for customer-specific requirements.
People Leadership & Talent Development
Lead, mentor, and develop manager-level direct reports, providing ongoing coaching grounded in performance data, dashboards, and development plans
Build a high-performing, engaged leadership team that embraces change, innovation, and AI-enabled ways of working
Ensure teams have a deep understanding of customer businessobjectivesand how control tower operations support those goals
Foster an inclusive, collaborative culture that values diversity, accountability, and continuous learning.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years of professional experience in 4PL, control tower, or complexlogisticsoperations with direct customer-facing responsibility
Proven experience managing P&Ls, productivity, and cost-to-serve performance
Demonstrated success in process standardization and operational scaling across customers and/or regions
Experienceoperatingin fast-paced, high-change environments, with resilience and adaptability
Hands-on experience implementing and/oroperatingwithin a TMS and broader supply chain technology ecosystem
Minimum 3 years ofpeopleleadership experience, including managing and developing leaders
Ability to travel up to 15%.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Experience leading operational transformation through technology, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions
Strongproficiencyin Microsoft Office, operational dashboards, process mapping, and project management tools
Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity as AI adoption and automation become embedded in operations
Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, andchangemanagement skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
Strong business acumen and ability to build trusted partnerships internally and externally
