Maintenance Technician - Direct Hire
Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine building maintenance, equipment repairs, and preventative maintenance to ensure the facility operates safely and efficiently. This role requires a hands-on individual with strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot a variety of maintenance issues.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Green Bay, WI
Pay Range: $60000 - $62500 + based on experience
Shift: Monday-Thursday 5am-2pm and Friday 5am-11am OR
Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30pm
What's the Job?
Perform routine inspections of building systems and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency
Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery, tools, and facility systems to minimize downtime
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues promptly
Carry out general facility repairs including lighting, doors, minor carpentry, and painting
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and complete work orders efficiently
What's Needed?
High school diploma or equivalent required
4+ years of general maintenance experience preferred
Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical (120 & 240 volts), and plumbing systems
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
