Campco Federal Credit Union Teller/Financial Partner in Wright, Wyoming
We have an exciting opportunity for a Teller/Financial Partner at our organization. Campco FCU is community oriented, and growth driven. We are looking for somebody who wants to help the Wright community thrive financially.
Greet and welcome members to the credit union in a friendly, professional, and timely manner. Provide members with basis product knowledge to assist them in obtaining financial security. Perform a wide range of transactional duties to serve members by receiving or paying out funds with high accuracy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet and welcome members to the credit union in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.
Provide comprehensive, prompt, accurate, and efficient member transactions.
Process daily teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, wire transfer, cash advances, cashier's checks, money orders, etc
Receive share drafts/checks and cash for deposit to accounts, verify amounts, examine share drafts/checks for proper endorsement, and accurately enter deposits into computer records.
Process withdrawals from accounts and/or share draft/check cashing, verify amounts, and enter withdrawals into system accurately. Cash share drafts/checks from a variety of accounts upon proper verification according to credit union policies and procedures.
Assist with mail or e-mail transactions, when available.
Place holds on accounts for uncollected funds.
Issue cashier's checks and money orders.
Receive loan and other payments and process accordingly.
Research and resolve discrepancies. May solicit assistance of the Head Teller to research and resolve discrepancies.
Ensure that the teller station is properly stocked with forms, supplies, brochures, etc.
Maintain cash recyclers and coin dispensers by loading/off-loading currency cassettes and filling coin dispensers as necessary, perform monthly and/or quarterly audits, process daily balancing reports, perform weekly cleaning, etc.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge on all credit union products and services that are handled or promoted by tellers.
Maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge on all related policies and procedures, rules and regulations for the teller area, including robbery, opening and closing procedures
Perform maintenance and balance automated coin machine, vault, and coin drawer; assist supervisor with on-site and off-site automated teller machine balancing and maintenance.
Cross-sell credit union services such as loans, CDs, debit/credit cards, online banking, or other promotional products where available. Open new accounts, and service existing accounts. Set up new account files and online banking accounts and provide members with all necessary information for membership.
Open IRAs and assist members with IRA withdrawals. Update IRA files quarterly and review all IRA transactions. Regularly review IRA updates.
Open Share Certificates, renew maturing Certificates and mail certificate notifications to members bi- monthly. Verify Certificates have correct information, such as (joint owners, PUD beneficiaries, etc.). Update membership cards to reflect information on certificates.
Outbound phone calls to new members (welcoming to CFCU and offering products such as checking, online banking, refinance, and ect.)
Gather background information on loan applicants by interviewing loan applicants and obtaining credit bureau reports.
Pull credit reports for all accounts, verify debts, and estimate monthly payments for any outstanding debts not listed and add them to debts on application
Adhere to all Federal and State laws and regulations applicable to the credit union, including the Bank Secrecy Act and OFAC.
