Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. All-Source Threat Analyst in Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio
Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a collaborative and highly experienced All-Source Threat Analystto join our team supporting advanced Modeling & Simulation (M&S) for autonomous and manned aircraft systems. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team to analyze and model current and future system capabilities, such as manned-unmanned teaming. You will play a crucial role in assisting our lead analyst and model developers by researching and providing the critical intelligence data that drives our simulation architecture. This role requires a technical proficiency in aerospace engineering concepts and M&S frameworks like AFSIM to produce detailed threat assessments that directly inform model development. Responsibilities As an All-Source Threat Analyst on this team, your essential job functions will be centered on providing expert intelligence analysis and direct M&S support: All-Source Intelligence & Data Collection: Research, analyze, and characterize current and future all-domain threats to Air Force operations by fusing multi-discipline intelligence (HUMINT, MASINT, SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT, TECHINT). Work closely with analysts at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC)and other Intelligence Community partners to gather all necessary information to iterate on model capabilities. Collaborate with the internal modeling team to determine, research, and collect the parametric datasetsused to develop configuration files for our generic, parameterized model architecture. Develop comprehensive intelligence assessments, briefings, and reports that conform to Intelligence Community analytic standards. Threat-Focused Modeling & Simulation (M&S) Support: Spearhead research and implementation of various system tactics and behaviorsto program a pilot behavior model for the control of various classes of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). Perform light AFSIM scenario developmentto showcase and test the implemented tactics and behaviors, providing critical analytical inputs to our dedicated team of AFSIM modelers and developers. Utilize M&S environments to build mission vignettes that support operational analysis and identify U.S. capability gaps against assessed threats. Develop scripts and analytical tools using languages like Python or MATLAB for data reduction and post-processing of simulation results to verify model behavior. Technical Analysis & Collaboration: Serve as a subject matter expert on threat systems, providing technical information and analysis to recommend solutions for model development. Distill complex intelligence and technical topics into clear, concise products for stakeholders and the development team.
