BAE Systems Product Support Specialist - BATDOK in Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio
Job Description
We are seeking a Product Support Specialist to work directly with our users and ensure our development teams are creating innovative capabilities that solve user needs. We need a highly experienced communicator and leader that has worked with military medical providers and can deeply understand their needs. This role is the connective tissue between the boots on the ground and the software development team.
We are looking for someone that is passionate about improving military healthcare and will ensure we move our products in the right direction. Not just creating new features, but capabilities that ensure that humans remain at the center of the product. You will coordinate all user interactions from small user research sessions to full scale exercises with hundreds of participants and multiple planning sessions. You will assist the product owners and designers in turning engagement feedback into actionable requirements. The Engineering, Science and Analysis (ESA) Strategic Capabilities Unit comprises the technical talent and organizational leadership that enables the successful delivery of high-impact discriminating technologies for our customers missions. What You ll Do:
Primary liaison to BATDOK user community.
Manager of user and development team relationships.
Communicate and advocate for ideas with development teams and customers.
Collaborate with designers, developers and healthcare professionals to understand user needs and requirements.
Work with product owners to define requirements.
Maintain ownership of training curriculums to ensure they meet the user s needs and result in proficiency.
Plan and coordinate customer engagements both formal and informal.
Foster integration into user career field training pipelines.
Stay current with military medical trends and technologies to continually improve our products.
Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Perform other duties as necessary.
Off-Site Work Environment: This position may be performed working primarily remotely. Travel/commute to various company and/or customer locations at time when not "home based" may be required.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor s degree in a related field plus 8 or more years related experience.
Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
Experience with operational medical care.
Experience with military training pipelines and curriculum.
In addition to the typical educational and experience requirements, a demonstrated capability to adequately perform the essential functions and responsibilities of the position and exhibit the skills and competencies of the grade level should be considered.

A security clearance or access with Polygraph is not required to be eligible for this position. However, the applicant must be willing and eligible for submission, depending on program requirements, after an offer is accepted and must be able to maintain the applicable clearance/access.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience with military community, active-duty military experience highly desired.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $107952 - $183518
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
