Position Summary
This position will report to the Sr. Manager, Wholesale Business Compliance, with a dotted line to the Lead Director for Client Account Management in the TPA & Payor Solutions business area. The Project Manager will be responsible for supporting all contract‑related activities for American Health Holding’s medical management business. This role will oversee the creation, drafting, redlining, and completion of client service agreements, confidentiality agreements, business associate agreements, delegation agreements, amendments, and other business-required contracts.
In addition, this individual will manage the client contract repository, ensuring agreements are updated, amended, or terminated as needed, while also providing support for regulatory filings. The Project Manager serves as a subject matter resource on contract terms when questions arise from the business or other constituents. The Project Manager will work closely with Managing Senior Counsel to maintain legally and regulatory compliant templates and escalate day-to-day matters involving legal risk.
The role requires regular collaboration with business partners to develop contract language and participation in client and account management discussions to address contractual requirements. Strong contract knowledge, redlining expertise, and excellent communication and writing skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of experience drafting and negotiating customer contracts; familiarity with Master Services Agreement (MSA) (Aetna experience a plus).
Experience operating within a highly regulated healthcare environment.
Proficiency in contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
Experience using SERFF or similar regulatory filing systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience drafting Medical Management Agreements, Delegation Agreements, and related amendments.
Understanding of medical management operations (UM, CM, delegation oversight, accreditation, etc.)
Ability to maintain strong relationships with customers and legal partners.
Willingness to support cross‑functional initiatives and provide legal/contract expertise.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure high-quality work products.
Ability to collaborate with SMEs across Legal, Product, Markets, Government Affairs, Privacy, Clinical Operations, and Compliance
Adaptability to evolving business needs.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or a combination of work experience and education.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$54,300.00 - $159,120.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
