Position Summary

Join the Navigating Wellbeing Portfolio, where we’re transforming how Aetna members engage with their holistic health. From delivering transparency across healthcare moments to enabling personalized, clinically grounded care journeys and redesigning wellness programs, we’re building a platform that supports the whole person—emotionally, physically, and behaviorally.

In this high-impact role, you’ll lead the strategy and execution of key components of the digital member experience. You’ll work closely with product, clinical, design, engineering, and analytics partners to shape solutions that address today’s needs while anticipating the future of personalized, holistic care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Road Mapping: Own and drive the product strategy and roadmap across multiple product areas, making clear tradeoffs and sequencing decisions aligned to business goals and member needs.

  • Cross‑Portfolio Collaboration: Partner with product, clinical, engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure cohesive planning, dependency alignment, and successful execution across portfolios.

  • Product Leadership: Provide product leadership to cross‑functional teams—including engineering, UX, data science, and clinical partners—across discovery, delivery, and continuous improvement

  • Customer‑Centered Discovery: Leverage member insights, research, and experimentation to identify priority problems and shape opportunities that improve engagement and health outcomes.

  • Agile Execution: Translate strategic objectives into actionable epics, features, and user stories, driving delivery in a SAFe/Agile environment with accountability for outcomes.

  • Risk & Dependency Management: Proactively identify and manage risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs to maintain delivery predictability and maximize product impact.

  • Performance & Value Optimization: Define and use KPIs and success metrics to evaluate outcomes, inform prioritization, and drive iterative product improvements.

  • Market & Industry Awareness: Apply knowledge of digital health trends, emerging technologies, and industry innovation to inform product strategy and future roadmap decisions.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in digital product management, with a strong track record of owning and delivering consumer-facing products at scale

  • 7+ years demonstrating ownership of product strategy and complex roadmaps, including influencing cross-functional stakeholders and navigating tradeoffs, dependencies, and changing priorities

  • 5+ years of experience in health tech, digital health, or related domains, with demonstrated understanding of member journeys and clinically informed product capabilities

  • 5+ years of expertise in Agile and SAFe ways of working, including hands-on use of tools such as Rally and Jira and leadership of cross-functional delivery ceremonies

  • 5+ years of proven ability to communicate product decisions clearly and credibly across technical and non-technical audiences, including executives and senior stakeholders

  • 3+ years of demonstrated success using analytics and experimentation to guide prioritization, validate outcomes, and measure delivered value

  • 1+ years of practical experience applying AI tools in product workflows to improve delivery efficiency, decision quality, and/or time-to-market

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in large, matrixed organizations with multiple stakeholders and complex decision-making structures

  • Familiarity with health insurance, digital clinical products, or member engagement platforms

  • Product or Agile certifications (e.g., SAFe PO/PM)

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$106,605.00 - $260,590.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
