Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Service Operations leads service delivery across configuration and encounter management to ensure accurate, compliant, and scalable operations. This role drives operational excellence, partners cross‑functionally with Product and Technology teams, and leads teams responsible for maintaining high‑quality service outcomes and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in healthcare

  • 2+ year of experience managing a team

  • Experience supporting Medicaid & or Medicare programs , including familiarity with Medicaid operational workflows, policies, and compliance requirements

  • Strong understanding of operational controls, quality metrics, and process improvement

  • Ability to lead teams, manage change, and effectively partner with cross‑functional stakeholders

  • Experience working in regulated, high‑volume service environments

  • Experience in Microsoft office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience supporting Illinois Medicaid programs

  • Experience in healthcare, health plans, or technology‑enabled service organizations

  • Experience supporting audits, compliance reviews, or regulatory reporting

  • Experience managing configuration and encounter‑based operations or transaction lifecycle management in a highly matrixed organization

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
