Position Summary
The Senior Manager will lead enterprise-scale initiatives that strengthen CVS Health’s academic and professional partnerships. This role owns strategy, planning, and execution for complex programs, ensuring governance, measurable outcomes, and long-term sustainability. Acting as a trusted proxy for senior leadership, the Senior Manager represents CVS Health at high-visibility meetings and national conferences, requiring executive presence, dynamic communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
7+ years leading cross‑functional program/project management in complex, matrixed organizations.
3+ years of people leadership (i.e., direct reports and/or formal matrix leadership).
Demonstrated success delivering enterprise rollouts with executive stakeholders, structured change management, and benefit realization.
Executive communication, negotiation, risk/dependency management (i.e., project management), and value tracking.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms.
Demonstrated ability to represent senior leadership in high-stakes settings; proven executive presence and confidence in public speaking.
Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives and academic leaders.
Ability to travel +/- 25%
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare/retail pharmacy and/or academic partnerships; comfort operating across field/divisional structures.
Industry exposure/involvement (e.g., healthcare, pharmacy, etc.) with academic institutions and/or professional associations.
Demonstrated ability to design operating models, run governance, and manage audits/compliance.
Experience planning/aligning leadership events and field enablement (e.g., breakout sessions at enterprise forums).
Experience serving as a proxy or delegate for senior leadership in enterprise or industry forums.
Advanced presentation and facilitation skills; ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
Track record of influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
Education
BS in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) required.
Active, unrestricted pharmacist licensure.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$67,900.00 - $199,144.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
