Position Summary
The Senior Analyst provides support for the CAS (Clinical Authorization System) PA system utilized by business users. This includes leading business testing for CAS through ongoing UAT and regression efforts. The Senior Analyst will work to fully understand existing business processes and work with business partners and IT colleagues through the application lifecycle - including requirements, design, testing, and sign off. The Senior Analyst will advocate for the business in feature prioritization and functionality within the application. As part of testing, test cases will be documented, completed, and signed off. The Senior Analyst may also assist with formulary documentation, production issue resolution, and serve as a subject matter expert on FEP Clinical programs and offerings and CAS Admin set up. The Senior Analyst will assist production configuration when needed, participate in audits, escalations and department projects.
The Senior Analyst will partner with internal and external colleages within business operations and IT and will need to make difficult decisions in a fast-paced environment. Other attributes needed include superior attention to detail and accountability for quality, willingness to work occasional nights/weekends for system outages/code pushesa and ability to consistently meet strict deadlines
Required Qualifications Excellent understanding of FEP Business Policies and Procedures Knowledge of FEP clinical offerings such as Managed PA, Med Ex, and Managed Formulary Ability to critically analyze business and functional requirement documentation to assess business impacts for code changes Excellent written communication skills Superior interpersonal skills and empathy to assist business users experiencing difficulties with systems Knowledge of and experience with the following:
CAS (Web, Admin, and Reporting)
2-4 years experience working with FEP Systems Team.
RxClaim experience.
Using CAS Admin to set up PA clients. CAS = Clinical Authorization System.
Testing in both CAS Admin and CAS Web. CAS WEB is the application the representatives use to process PA’s and Appeals.
This is for the FEP Client - Federal Employee Program
Projects and testing of new CAS functionality
Understanding of RX claim as related to PA overrides PA = Prior Authorization
Set up includes but not limited too:
Question sets
Letters/faxes
Queus
Drug set up
Macros for RX claim overrides
Outcomes
Denial and Approval reasons
Client set up
Preferred Qualifications-
3-5 years experience working with similar role.
3-5 years experience with Healthcare.
Microsoft Applications working with Excel.
Education
Required H.S or Equivalent. Preferred Bachelor's Degree.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$46,988.00 - $102,000.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
