Saint-Gobain Product Engineer in WORCESTER, Massachusetts

What’s the job?

In this role, you will develop and maintain detailed application guidelines for the product line. You will create a technical roadmap for new product development and establish systems to ensure that product requirements are clearly understood by various teams within Saint-Gobain Abrasives, including R&D, Manufacturing, and Sales. The incumbent must have expertise in product applications, technology, and design, along with advanced technical knowledge and skills related to product usage and end-user expectations.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Participate in field testing with customers and sales teams to validate performance.

  • Support issue resolution through site visits and hands-on diagnostics.

  • Champion field testing to validate new products with end users.

  • Conduct field evaluations for product cost reduction programs, ensuring accuracy and speed.

  • Develop and deliver training programs for internal and external audiences:

  • 8+ years of experience in new product development, technical project management or application development and analysis with an undergraduate degree

  • 2+ years of experience in new product development, technical project management or application development and analysis with a master's degree

Pay Transparency:

Certain locations require pay information be provided in job postings. Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position, which is $81,500 to $126,500 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $89,650 to $139,150. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
