Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team on the 3rd Shift (11:00 pm - 7:00 am) in Wooster, OH. This role involves working in a unionized industrial facility where you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems. The position offers competitive hourly wages and benefits.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems.
Follow the preventative maintenance schedule to prevent breakdowns and prioritize repairs with guidance from Plant Management.
Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, cutters, mills, and other fabrication and auxiliary equipment.
Conduct minor electrical repairs such as replacing fuses, switches, solenoids, and gates.
Assist with equipment installations and modifications to enhance safety and efficiency.
Complete work orders and documentation in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
Essential Skills
At least 5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
Electrical troubleshooting experience with 480v, single and three-phase power.
Knowledge of troubleshooting PLCs, particularly ladder logic.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Experience with motors, servos, pumps, relays, controls, and power transmission systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Basic PLC troubleshooting experience.
Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance.
Experience in welding and working with conveyors, motors, and other industrial equipment.

Work Environment
This is a unionized working environment on the 3rd Shift (11:00 pm - 7:00 am), with an average workweek of 48 hours and opportunities for overtime. You will work the first two Saturdays and Sundays of the month and have the last two Sundays off. The dress code includes jeans, a short sleeve shirt, and steel toe boots.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $76960.00/yr.
