PRC-Saltillo is seeking a reliable and hands-on Facility Maintenance Assistant to support the upkeep of our building, grounds, and machine shop. In this role, you'll perform routine inspections, assist with repairs, and help maintain equipment and facilities that support our mission-driven work. Position Overview
The Facility Maintenance Assistant supports the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining building systems, equipment, and grounds in accordance with safety standards and applicable codes. This role involves daily system checks, assists with preventative maintenance and minor repairs, supports machine shop operations, and helps ensure a safe, professional, and efficient workplace for all employees.

What You'll Do
- Assist with maintenance and upkeep of building systems, grounds, and machine shop equipment
- Perform routine inspections and safety checks (daily, weekly, monthly)
- Support preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and equipment setup
- Help fabricate, repair, and maintain tooling and machining fixtures
- Assist with facility setup for events, office moves, and equipment assembly
- Maintain inventory of maintenance and facility supplies
Support safety initiatives and maintain a clean, professional work environment
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Five years of building maintenance, construction, or repair experience required
Required Skills & Abilities
- Working knowledge of construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, doors, and locks
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and templates
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with all levels of staff
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism
