What You’ll Do
You’ll be the heart of the operation — keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes while making sure our customers and staff feel welcomed, supported, and energized.
Operations & Administration
Assist with scheduling classes and managing instructor rosters
Support payroll and basic bookkeeping tasks
Manage inventory and monitor equipment
Help coordinate pool partner logistics
Customer Experience & Deck Ambassador Duties
Welcome families to the pool and create a fun, friendly atmosphere
Check water chemistry and deck safety before lessons
Answer customer questions about accounts, class progress, and programs
Assist instructors and managers during lessons as needed
Capture and post photos/videos for social media to showcase our community
Keep morale high for both staff and customers with a positive, energetic attitude
Manage customer service phone calls and emails
What We’re Looking For
Minimum Qualifications
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Friendly, enthusiastic personality with a professional demeanor
Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced, energetic environment
Willingness to learn pool safety and program requirements
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of customer service experience(required for full consideration)
Experience working with children or in a recreational/fitness environment
CPR/First Aid/Lifeguard certification (can be obtained during training)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or scheduling software

Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities, most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.
We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team, even if you're not in the pool. These are the people committed to providing the best service in the industry. In these roles, you might talk to parents on the phone or by the pool. Wherever you are, the aim is to make everyone feel like part of the British Swim School Family as we focus on ensuring the “Survival of the Littlest.”
