Back 1d Delivery Supervisor Sr. - Kent #26-123 Kent, Washington, United States Apply X Facebook LinkedIn Email Copy Working Locations Kent, Washington, United States Pay Range $85000 - $100000/yr Job Details The Senior Delivery Supervisor backs up the Delivery Director and is the point of contact for all day-to-day functions. Key Responsibilities Supervise a team of Delivery Drivers to ensure delivery procedures are executed to Company standards Demonstrate a desire to learn and willingly accept stretch projects Assist the Delivery Director in budget planning and monthly expense reconciliation Manage all personnel issues including training, evaluating, disciplining and following up on driving team concerns Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate department staff Ensure that all safety and compliance policies and procedures are followed Ensure proper handling of all invoices and money for assigned team Respond to all customer related issues in a timely manner to ensure positive relationships with customers Work with routing team and Drivers to continually optimize the efficiencies of local routes Develop and maintain positive, cooperative and team-oriented relationships with co-workers, supervisors, managers and others you come into contact with throughout your job Adhere to all state liquor laws and regulations Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned Demonstrate behaviors consistent with those of the Company's Core Values at all times Key Competencies Active listening Follow up/follow through Strong work ethic Being a team player Accountability Dealing with difficult personalities Excellent oral and written communication skills Effective organizational and time management skills Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external customers Excellent analytical and attention to detail skills Ability to handle multiple and tight deadlines Effective coaching and leadership development skills People Management This position will manage a diverse group of Delivery Drivers and Delivery Helpers. Work Environment This position works indoors and outdoors with occasional need for delivery driving. Physical Demands Lift/carry and push/pull 35 lbs. repetitively, moving kegs up to 165 lbs. Bend/stoop/crouch/squat/use arms/wrists/hands/grasp Use of industry tools: hand truck, six wheeler, manual pallet jack, box cutter Driving required Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, days and hours of work vary and may include weekends.
