Job Overview Title: Quality Systems Administrator Reports to: Quality Manager Location: Kent, WA - onsite Type: Non-Exempt, Full-Time Schedule Type: *100% Onsite: Monday - Friday day shift. Ability to work overtime as needed - including occasional weekend support. Hytek production is open 24 hours per day. All shifts are as follows: 1st shift (Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.), 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.), 3rd shift (Sunday - Friday, 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.) Position Summary The Quality Systems Administrator supports the operation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) for Hytek Finishes. Responsibilities include administering document control and overseeing calibration activities, supporting internal audits, and maintaining quality records. This role works closely with Quality Engineers and operational teams to ensure the organization meets customer, regulatory, and accreditation requirements. Key Responsibilities Calibration Management Coordinate the calibration of gauges, process monitoring equipment, and inspection tools with calibration vendor. Support the onboarding of new equipment and calibration requirements. Maintain calibration records, certificates, and tracking logs. Ensure compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, and customer requirements. Segregate and manage out-of-tolerance or overdue equipment. Document Control Administration Manage document revision, approval, distribution, and archival processes within the QMS software system. Maintain current procedures, work instructions, forms, and controlled documents. Manage and keep up to date with new document releases via customer portals or industry document websites. Work with production or support teams to establish technique card data bases or work instruction incorporation into the QMS. Internal Audit Support Assist with AS9100 and NADCAP internal audits, including planning, checklists, and evidence gathering. Record audit findings, track corrective actions, and facilitate closure. Participate in readiness efforts for customer, registrar, and NADCAP audits. General Quality Support Prepare quality metrics and reports (audit trends, calibration status, document activity). Assist customer and internal teams with retrieval of quality records and certifications. Preferred Qualifications Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
