Job Overview Title: Electrician & Industrial Technician (Intermediate Level) Reports to: Maintenance and OHS Manager Location: Kent, WA - onsite Type: Non-Exempt, Full-Time Schedule Type: Monday - Friday, Day Shift. Ability to work overtime as needed - including weekend support. Hytek production is open 24 hours per day. Normal Shifts are as follows: 1st shift (Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.), 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.), 3rd shift (Sunday - Friday, 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.) Full benefits package includes: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) matching, Performance Share incentive compensation (Profit Sharing Plan), 3-weeks paid time off to start, paid community service day, tuition reimbursement, parental leave, short term disability, long term disability, life insurance, long-term care plan options, 10 paid holidays, and onsite health services that includes access to a massage therapist. Salary Range for position: $25.00 - $40.00. The pay range and total compensation package listed above is the expected pay offered for this position at the start of employment. Your pay will be based on multiple factors, including and not limited to your relevant experience level, and skillset while balancing internal equity relative to other employees. Position Summary This position is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment using preventive and proactive maintenance practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical systems and PLC troubleshooting, along with general mechanical skills. Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance on production and facility equipment across multiple disciplines (electrical, PLC, mechanical, plumbing). Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, motors, sensors, and control circuits. Assist with PLC troubleshooting and basic programming adjustments. Conduct preventive maintenance and document work in CMMS software. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders accurately. Use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Build racks using appropriate metal for processing parts through chemical tanks. Report faulty operations or unusual conditions promptly. Support productivity initiatives to enhance reliability and efficiency. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to diagnose problems and develop practical solutions. Basic experience with PLC systems (Allen-Bradley or similar). General mechanical aptitude (hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps). Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
