Job Summary

[PDM Steel Service Centers, Inc. (Woodland, WA location) is seeking applications from qualified candidates in the ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Parkland, WA[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}area[. We deliver steel products throughout Washington and Oregon on our fleet of company owned trucks. This role transport finished goods and raw materials to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers. Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance. Plan routes and meet delivery deadlines. Perform any combination of duties and tasks to support the distribution of steel products.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

Job Function

• [Operate a semi-truck with one or two trailers according to state and federal D.O.T laws.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Transport material over required route to proper destination safely and on schedule.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Convey materials and items from truck trailers using over-head cranes or forklifts.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Receive and transport collections and C.O.D from customers.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Perform daily inspections on trucks, trailers, and cargo securement equipment.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Perform routine truck maintenance including checking tire pressure, oil, coolant, and fuel levels.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Operate an Electronic Logging Device (ELD) to accurately track, manage, and share records of duty status (RODS) data.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Maintain a clean truck and trailer at all times (weather permitting).]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
