Creative Circle Project Manager, Event Marketing in WOODBURY, New York

Our client, a large religious nonprofit organization, is currently seeking a freelance Events Project Manager to join their team for parental leave coverage.This opportunity is hybrid, 3 days/week, in the client's office in Manhattan. Project Manager will join the fundraising events marketing team to assist with a high volume of projects from April through mid September, working 35 hour long weeks. You will go onsite Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays and work remotely Wednesdays and Fridays.With guidance from the Regional Marketing Director, the Event Marketing PM will develop and execute project plans and project timelines. They will regularly send updates to involved parties as projects move forward and adjust timelines as necessary. The Event Marketing PM will work with colleagues across the organization, including Marketing & Communications, Events Team, Fundraising, and the Print Shop.Project Manager Responsibilities:- Create, monitor, and manage project plans and schedules, and ensures that projects stay within agreed upon scopes and timelines- Complete all forms and data entry for all calendar listings/submissions (i.e., online registration, e-blast requests, etc.), including scheduling/timeline management in Workfront- Follow up with various colleagues across the organization regarding execution of various marketing pieces, including gathering necessary information to avoid bottlenecks- Coordinate, execute, and complete projects and tasks, ensuring consistency with brand strategy and organizations objectives- Work with internal teams (digital, design, proofreading, etc.) to ensure that all deliverables are moving according to schedule, including obtaining approvals- Establish appropriate deadlines and priorities, in consultation with other team members and then ensure that deadlines are met, assets are in the appropriate places and all parties are well informed of upcoming deadlines and deliverables- Understand project goals, maintain timelines / scope and ensure all specific deliverables are executed on brand, and on time (task management and trafficking)- Actively track project status, progress, risks and milestones, communicating with the team on next steps and prioritizing needsProject Manager Requirements:- 3+ years of PM experience, ideally with nonprofit or events/marketing teams- Proficiency working in Workfront - Be resourceful and a problem solver with a proactive work ethic - Excellent interpersonal skills. Able to work effectively and flexibly with internal partners and marketing team members- Exceptionally strong organizational skills; must be able to multi-task- Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines- Ability to synthesize plans and solutions while working in a dynamic, problem-solving environment- Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented- Strong interpersonal skills both in person, via email, on paper to work effectively with colleagues and internal clients (of varying personalities, styles, skills, needs, and priorities) to reach desired goals In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
