Structural Welder / Fabricator (FCAW)

Pay Rate: $25–$27 per hour

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Structural Welder / Fabricator to join our team in Woodburn, Oregon . This position is primarily focused on welding, with fabrication work performed as needed. The ideal candidate has strong FCAW experience on heavy structural steel, can read blueprints with confidence, and is ready to contribute immediately.
This role involves structural welding on large steel I-beams and requires accuracy, consistency, and the ability to weld to code and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform FCAW welding using .045 and 1/16” flux-core wire
Weld heavy structural steel components, including I-beams
Read and interpret blueprints, prints, and weld symbols
Complete welds according to required standards and specifications
Assist with fabrication and fitting as needed
Maintain a safe and productive work environment
Required Skills & Qualifications
Recent hands-on experience with FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding)
Strong structural welding background
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Experience with MIG welding
Fabrication and fitting experience
Ability to work independently and “hit the ground running”
Preferred Qualifications
Current or previous WABO Certification
Experience welding heavy structural steel

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
