Description
Charlie Gilmur with Robert Half is looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our team in Woodburn, Oregon. This role primarily focuses on Accounts Payable (AP) functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing financial transactions. As you grow in the position, you will also have the opportunity to support Accounts Receivable (AR) and other accounting functions.
Responsibilities:
• Process invoices by reviewing supporting documentation to ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Communicate effectively with vendors to address inquiries and provide updates on payment status.
• Validate account coding and invoice details to maintain accuracy.
• Monitor accounts payable aging schedules and support payment scheduling processes.
• Assist in performing bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
• Contribute to month-end closing activities, ensuring all tasks are completed on time.
• Gradually take on Accounts Receivable tasks, including cash application and tracking.
• Support tax-related processes, such as preparing withholding tax documentation.
• Perform additional accounting duties as assigned to assist the team.

Requirements • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Familiarity with accounting systems, with experience in Oracle preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic functions and data organization.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate within a team and with vendors.
• Ability to work effectively in a multinational, multi-entity environment.
