American Tower Senior Project Manager, Finance Transformation in Woburn, Massachusetts

The Team

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join American Tower’s Finance Transformation team. Day to day you will lead efforts to improve overall finance effectiveness by helping to implement best in class processes and automation. As a Senior Project Manager, you will partner cross-functionally to execute strategies for finance transformation initiatives.

What You Need To Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management, Finance, or IT required.

  • Minimum 7 years of excellent, proven project management skills, which includes experience organizing, planning, and executing from vision through implementation small- to medium-scale projects, required.

  • Conceptual knowledge of information technologies and methodologies.

  • Proficient with reporting systems and at presenting data.

  • Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Self-motivated; able to work both independently to complete tasks and respond to requests and with others to utilize their resources and knowledge to identify high quality solutions.

  • Strong relationship-development skills that result in long-term, mutually beneficial client relationships.

  • Ability to work in a time-sensitive, high volume environment.

  • Ability to identify key contacts for follow up; excellent ability to communicate project and status updates to team and cross-functionally to ensure understanding.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.

  • Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.

What You Can Offer Us

  • Oversee large, complex projects from inception to successful implementation, including:Proactively communicate to stakeholders any project issues or risks including timing, budget, resources, scope, etc.

  • Establish and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to assist with effectively executing responsibilities.

  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings.

  • Partner with other Finance department teams to proactively recommend opportunities for process improvements, system optimizations, etc.

  • Participate in design discussions and decisions for solutions related to Transformation team initiatives.

  • Lead significant process changes as part of implementing Finance Transformation changes.

  • Other duties as assigned.
