Job Title: Grinder Operator Job Description
As a Grinder Operator, you will be responsible for performing grinding of metal parts, setting up equipment to run the grinding process, and ensuring that products meet quality standards. You will work with metal, aluminum, or plastic parts, following detailed blueprints to complete tasks accurately.
Responsibilities
Perform grinding of metal, aluminum, or plastic parts.
Set up equipment to run the grinding process efficiently.
Measure parts accurately using micrometers.
Perform centerless grinding on products.
Identify issues to minimize scrap and ensure quality.
Monitor the product during the grinding process.
Follow blueprints step by step to ensure accurate production.
Essential Skills
Experience with using a micrometer.
Prior manufacturing experience.
Ability to understand and perform basic math and measurements.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in deburring and machine shop operations.
Experience in production and machine operation.
Ability to set up machines and verify dimensions of parts using calipers.

Work Environment
The work schedule is from 7 am to 3 pm, providing a balanced work-life routine. You will work in a well-equipped facility that prioritizes safety and efficiency.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woburn, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
