As a Commercial Support Specialist, you will LEAD by……….

In this role, you will be based in Michigan with responsibility for identifying customer needs, developing/ maintaining relationships with key purchasing, engineering, and customer contacts in order to support mobile emissions catalysts products, services, and technologies. This is an excellent developmental opportunity for future movement into Account Management.

Travel for the role is anticipated to be 10% of the time, domestically and internationally. Work arrangement will be hybrid with 2-3 days a week either in office (Wixom, MI) or with customers.

In this role you will:

• Strengthen and develop diverse customer relationships

• Support global launch activities

• Attend key customer Product Development Team and Purchasing meetings

• Track customer programs and deliverables, including internal timetables as well as enter sample orders/prototypes and track them.

• Initiate and track new part numbers

• Tactical implementation of the business development strategy

• Identification of new business opportunities and enhancement of existing customer relationships, canner relationships, market share, and profitability

• Development of account strategy, market share and profitability

• Maintaining customer scorecards to ensure preferred supplier status

• Prepare sales quotations, forecasting, analysis, and other business support

Your elements for success……

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Engineering or Science

• 3+ years of experience inengineering, sales, program development/launch, technical, project management and/or business-related roles required

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills required

• Experience implementing business plans/strategies preferred

The competitive Pay Range for this role is $105k-$125k annually. Actual pay will be determine based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factor permitted by law.
