BayCare Health System Electrician II in Winter Haven, Florida

Position Details:
Location: Winter Haven Hospital – Winter Haven, Florida
Status: Full-time
Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm
Days: Monday-Friday / Occasional Weekends
Responsibilities
Responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment and circuits, principally but not limited to power distribution, motor control centers, and backup emergency switch gear.
Must also perform demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of the facility equipment to primarily include Electrical and associated systems in accordance with departmental, hospital and regulatory agency codes.
Specific duties include maintaining facilities and equipment in hospital or clinic environment.
May be scheduled to work various work shifts and weekends to meet the needs of the hospital not necessarily within the craft lines.
May require travel to perform necessary maintenance work at other BCHS facilities.
Requires current knowledge of various federal, state, local and CMS codes and regulations. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education
Required: High School or Equivalent
Preferred: Technical
Must obtain the OSHA 10-hour certification within 90 days.
Licenses
- Required - Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent (8+ years Electrician experience encompassing a range of electrical work and skills sets) is required.
Experience
Required : 5 Years experience as an Electrician
Preferred: 3 Years Hospital Maintenance
Preferred: 1 Year High- rise Electrical system
Preferred: 1 Year Mechanical system
